About the Air Canada De Havilland Dash 8-400 (Q400) Layout 1
Air Canada's Layout 1 Dash 8-400 seats 78 passengers in a single Economy cabin. The map is easy to recognize because row 1 appears only on the left side, row 2 starts on the right beside the forward lavatory, and the rest of the aircraft runs in a straight 2-2 arrangement through row 20.
Unlike older Jazz Q400 maps, this updated layout uses only one lavatory at the front right and does not place a lavatory at the rear. The main Preferred Seats are 1A, 1C, 2D and 2F because they face open bulkhead space, while row 20 is the least desirable row because it sits against the aft pressure-bulkhead area.
