How To Recognize Layout 1
- Premium ends at row 3, and Extended Comfort runs only from rows 4 to 7.
- The aircraft ends at row 30.

About the WestJet Boeing 737-8 MAX Layout 1
WestJet's Layout 1 Boeing 737-8 MAX is the older two-cabin version with 30 total rows. Premium occupies rows 1 to 3, Extended Comfort is limited to rows 4 through 7, and the exit rows are 13 and 14.
Premium seats are 21.3 inches wide with 5 inches of recline, while standard Economy seats range from 16.3 to 17.3 inches wide with 30 inches of pitch and 2 inches of recline. Extended Comfort offers 34 to 36 inches of pitch depending on the row, and the exit-row seats have 38 inches of pitch.
This version also keeps WestJet Connect entertainment, paid Wi-Fi and both AC power and USB-A charging at every seat.
